The affordable Canon PowerShot A10 has
a 1.3-megapixel CCD for high quality images. Make 5'' x 7'' prints suitable
for framing. If you love to take and share pictures, the Powershot A10 works
easily everywhere, from a family trip to a weekend at home. The 3x optical zoom lens brings you close to the action. From focus to flash, the A10 is fully automated with intuitive controls, so you'll never miss out on the perfect shot while you're fumbling with your settings. Auto exposure and auto white balance perfect your shot in diverse lighting conditions. However, creative control is also possible with the exposure compensation and manual white balance, which override the automatic settings, letting you craft your composition. Despite an affordable price tag, the PowerShot A10 provides several high-end features: shutter speeds from 1 second to 1/1500 of a second, nine image quality modes, and waterproof housing. The short shutter intervals allow you to capture the action from every angle quickly and efficiently. So even if you're on a boat or a playing field, you can shoot effectively and safely. Up to 87 of your favorite images are stored on the included 8MB CompactFlash memory card. A new energy-efficient digital signal processing IC delivers fast image processing, conserves battery power, and transfers data quickly through the USB interface. At your PC, the included software lets you display your images, create dramatic panoramas, or arrange an onscreen slide show. A generous variety of bundled software enables image management, editing, and printing. Speaking of prints, the Direct Print mode lets you print hard-copy images using Canon's CP-10 printer (sold separately). With the CP-10, you control print settings directly from the camera's LCD monitor and transfer images to the CP-10 directly through a dedicated interface cable. It's simple and fun. Unlike many entry-level cameras, this one accepts optional lens accessories. |
